Instant Pot Pasta

Super simple pasta in an instant pot with easy cleanup

Ingredients

Chuck Roast

~1LB

  • You can use another type of stew based meat here like top round, bottom round, etc.

Carrots

2

San Marzano tomato

1-2 cans

Tomato Paste

1 can

Onion

1

Garlic

2 Whole

Pasta

1LB / 1 Box

Beef Broth

2-3 cups (1 container)

  • You can use water if you do not have broth

Salt

To taste

Pepper

To taste

Olive Oil

~1 cup

Steps

1. Brown Beef

Set your instant pot to 'Saute' and brown each side of your chuck roast

2. Add Veggies and Cook

Add broth, tomatoes, carrots, onion, garlic as well as your seasonings. Let the instant pot to high pressure and cook for 45 minutes

3. Mash Contents

Using a masher, mash all the contents of the instant pot until relatively consistent.

4. Add Pasta

At the end of the 45 minutes, add pasta and cook again for another 5 minutes
